where the hell is the MOTM
I tried to book a room at the Sheraton listed on the flyer , they want upwards of $500 for 3 nights and nobody seems to know any thing about MOTM. It's no wonder not many people from Michigan are registered.
Sorry you had this problem. Unfortunately this happens at every event, not only ABATE or MRF. The problem is that they don't inform their staff very well about the events and about the discount codes. If you try again you will probably ge a better answer, or you can talk to the manager.
As the ledgeslative officer of Region 14, I am going to the MOTM.
However I live close enough that I am going to sleep in my own bed rather than pay outrageous room rates. Of course I live wthin 10-15 minutes away.
My wife is also going, but only at the request of Vince Consigilo to do an MSF safety demo.
But we are willing to volanteer our time to run errands or to keep an eye out for the motorcycles in the parking lot.
If money is a problem, there may be ABATE of MI members that could let someone crash at their pad/sofa.
C'mon, man up and help out,...be a volanteer.
